Hanno risposto in gran numero i cavalieri e le amazzoni di Puglia e Basilicata al richiamo del Galà, che ha

assegnato i meriti sportivi per le stagioni agonistiche

del 2020 e 2021, in cui il fil rouge è stato rappresentato dalla vittoria della squadra pugliese Under 21 a Fieracavalli di Verona nel 2020 nella Coppa delle Regioni.

Ad accogliere i circa 600 partecipanti il presidente di Fise Puglia, Francesco Vergine, che ha fortemente voluto il Galà, per stigmatizzare e rendere onore ai risultati che gli atleti di Puglia e Basilicata hanno ottenuto in questi ultimi due anni, in cui di fatto non ci si è potuti ritrovare, al di là dei contesti squisitamente sportivi, a causa delle restrizioni sanitarie.

Con la verve di Nico Belloni, presentatore d’eccezione per la serata, l’organizzazione di Fise Puglia, con il supporto di PugliaaCavallo, in uno dei più attraenti Resort di Puglia, al Grand Hotel Masseria Santa Lucia, sono stati assegnati i riconoscimenti agli atleti che nelle diverse discipline equestri, dagli attacchi al dressage, dall’endurance al salto ostacoli, dal reining alle specialità del ludico, si sono distinti nel biennio.

Una platea festosa che ha accolto con trasporto il presidente della Fise, Marco Di Paola, giunto in Puglia tra i diversi impegni, a rendere merito agli atleti, al Comitato Regionale e al presidente Vergine per quel trend positivo del settore equestre che la Puglia, in questi ultimi due anni, a dispetto di una pandemia, che ha bloccato mezza Italia e il mondo intero ha fatto riscontrare con una crescita importante che registra circa 4000 tesserati e  80 circoli ippici affiliati.

«Tra i settori in crescita, il comparto Pony sia ludico, che agonistico, con la realizzazione di un Trofeo Pony Puglia, un addestramento cuscinetto tra il ludico e l’agonistico per il salto ostacoli» conferma Francesco Vergine, Presidente del Comitato Regionale Fise Puglia e atleta di successo delle categorie alte, premiato anch’egli al Galà.

A credere nell’importanza del “vivaio”, il presidente della Federazione Italiana Sport Equestri, Marco Di Paola – che ha evidenziato, tra l’altro nel suo intervento, come la partecipazione così numerosa, soprattutto dei più piccoli, a manifestazioni come il Galà, sia la risposta alla voglia dei giovanissimi, dei ragazzi e delle famiglie, asse portante dell’equitazione, di capire, di essere squadra, di essere insieme e ritrovarsi accomunati dalla passione per gli sport equestri.

Anche il grande esempio di quelli che la Puglia definisce i suoi “Ambasciatori”, e ci si riferisce ai grandi atleti del salto ostacoli come Lorenzo De Luca ed Emanuele Gaudiano per il salto ostacoli, pugliese il primo, lucano il secondo, conosciuti a livello internazionale,  e ancora Nico Sicuro per la specialità del reining tra quelle di monta americana, giocano un ruolo chiave. Infatti durante il Galà molto apprezzati sono stati i commenti video giunti proprio da Lorenzo De Luca ed Emanuele Gaudiano.

Ad aggiungere un altro tassello, Domenico D’Onghia, che con la sua medaglia d’argento ai Campionati Assoluti Nazionali di Dressage  proprio con un cavallo di razza murgese ha sbaragliato il campo, rafforzando  la conoscenza e diffusione di una razza autoctona nata e cresciuta in Puglia, come il Murgese, adatto alla disciplina del dressage, come da anni  dimostra  Francesco Calisi con la sua Accademia di Arte Equestre Il Nero Luminoso,  che utilizza esclusivamente cavalli di razza murgese.

Tra le novità di quest’anno il Trofeo Pugliaacavallo, organizzato nell’ambito del Galà, dalla medesima testata di Deborah Giorgi e Arcangelo Lamola, attribuito attraverso un concorso mediatico che ha riscosso grandissimo successo ed andato alla junior, Elena Perlini, atleta di completo e al senior Antonio Liddo, cavaliere di dressage.

Grande festa finale quindi ai blasonati Under 21 che hanno “issato” la bandiera della Puglia a una manifestazione storica come la Coppa delle Regioni di Fieracavalli, con Aurora Guaragno, Rosalba Vacca, Francesco Palladino e Alessia Ginevra Inverardi.

Puglia and Basilicata responded in large numbers to the call of the Gala, which awarded the sporting merits of 2020 and 2021, in which the fil rouge was represented by the victory of the Apulian Under 21 team at Fieracavalli in Verona in 2020 in the Regions Cup.

A festive audience who welcomed with transport the president of the Fise, Marco Di Paola, who arrived in Puglia among the various commitments, to give credit to the athletes, to the Regional Committee and to the Virgin president for that positive trend in the equestrian sector that Puglia, in these last two years, in spite of a pandemic, which has blocked half Italy and the whole world, has resulted in an important growth that has registered about 4000 members and 80 affiliated equestrian clubs.

“Among the growing sectors, the Pony sector is both recreational and competitive, with the creation of a Pony Puglia Trophy, a buffer training between playful and competitive for show jumping” confirms Francesco Vergine, President of the Fise Puglia Regional Committee and successful athlete in the upper categories, also awarded at the Gala.

To believe in the importance of the “nursery”, the president of the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports, Marco Di Paola – who highlighted, among other things in his speech, how numerous participation, especially of the little ones, in events such as the Gala , is the answer to the desire of very young people, children and families, the backbone of horse riding, to understand, to be a team, to be together and find themselves united by the passion for equestrian sports.

Also the great example of those that Puglia defines as its “Ambassadors”, and we refer to the great athletes of show jumping such as Lorenzo De Luca and Emanuele Gaudiano for show jumping, the first from Puglia, the second from Basilicata, internationally known , and again Nico Sure for the specialty of reining among those of American riding, play a key role. In fact, during the Gala, the video comments from Lorenzo De Luca and Emanuele Gaudiano were very popular.

To add another piece, Domenico D’Onghia, who with his silver medal at the Absolute National Dressage Championships with a Murgese race horse has beaten the field, strengthening the knowledge and spread of an indigenous breed born and raised in Puglia, like the Murgese, suitable for the discipline of dressage, as demonstrated for years by Francesco Calisi with his Academy of Equestrian Art Il Nero Luminoso, which uses exclusively Murgese horses.

Among the novelties of this year, the Pugliaacavallo Trophy, organized as part of the Gala, by the same newspaper of Deborah Giorgi and Arcangelo Lamola, awarded through a media competition that has met with great success and went to the junior, Elena Perlini, a complete and to senior Antonio Liddo, dressage knight.

Great final party then to the noble Under 21 who “hoisted” the flag of Puglia at a historic event such as the Cup of the Regions of Fieracavalli, with Aurora Guaragno, Rosalba Vacca, Francesco Palladino and Alessia Ginevra Inverardi.
